I know this has nothing to do with digital scrapbooking, or even scrapbooking in general, but this is one of my side projects I had going and I'm uber excited about it's finish. :) My Sister-In-Law (herein called "my sister," "Em," "Emmie," or "the most awesomest writer in the universe!") has finally finshed her new book, 'Losing Control.' Not to brag, but I think it's amazing! (No, seriously, I'm an avid reader, especially in the vampire, horror, werewolf, dark genre! Even though I am slightly biased! LOL)

Another reason why I'm so excited about this book is the fact that I (yes, yours truly, creative.chaos, Kymm, Ryder's mommy) designed the cover. (Gosh, it's so nice to actually have a reason to put the design degree to use! LOL) I am very pleased with how the entire process turned out. I've done book covers before, but I've never edited, created the inside of the book, except for in class when I was in college. It was a learning curve, but all 306 pages only took me about two and a half days to format.

It's not quite available yet, but it should be in the next few weeks, so I'll post about it again when the actual book is available for purchase.
